Antique Wooden Fry's Chocolate Box Counter Display

This is a lovely antique Fry's Chocolate box. Made from wood with cardboard lid the box held Fry's Chocolate cream tablets and it would have been a shop counter display box. On the lid it has Fry's Chocolates makers to the H.M The King. H.M. The Queen. H.M. Queen Alexandra. The front has a paper label Fry's Chocolate Cream Tablets. The sides show the wood and are stamped Fry's Chocolate Cream Tablets. The inside of the lid is lined in paper with the words Fry's Chocolate Cream Tablets. The back and base are cardboard.
The box is in fair condition for its age. It does show signs of its vintage journey with marks and knocks. All this adds to its charm. Please see pictures.
