A beautiful English small antique Squirrels confectionary tin. The tin lid has the picture of the painting Peace Bringing Back Plenty by Vig_e Le Brun. The sides and back have columns with leave garland. Between the columns written in gold is Peace Bringing Back Plenty. The two side panels have the garlands with gold ribbons. Inside the lid is Squirrel Confectionery in black. A lovely old tin with an old world feel.
It is in antique condition, it does show sign of its journey, the paint work is faded and worn with some knocks, scratches and rust spots inside. This adds to it vintage journey and charm. Please see pictures.
